OMH offers programmes for children of different age groups
OMH focuses on the Holistic Development in each child – 4 points
1. PRESCHOOL – 18 months to 2 years
As this group emerges from babyhood, its first and foremost need is to settle down- for which, it requires both a stimulating and a nourishing environment to develop the child’s physical, social and emotional skills. Simple activities and manipulative plays help the child gain confidence and hence prepare him/her for further learning.
2. MONT I – 2 years to 2.5 years
In this age group, the children require refinement of their earlier learned skills and development of their cognition. Practical life activities help to develop their motor skills, sense of order, independence, concentration and responsibility of self & environment. As they learn fastest through their senses, they will also be involved in activities that stimulate their acquisition senses. Early number concepts and language skills will be imparted in a fun and engaging way.
3. MONT II – 2.5 years to 3 years
In continuation from early learning experience, children of this age group are able to work with more complex exercises within the Practical Life and Sensorial activities range. Activities are mainly hands-on, fun and concrete at this stage, which sets the basis for further development in abstract concepts. Number concepts and language skills will continue further and children will be prepared for writing. Foundation is also laid at this stage for well-executed work and social habits.
4. MONT III – 3 years to 4 years
In this stage, children are ready to take on more complex exercises in a more disciplined manner. Mathematics, language, writing skills are further developed in fun and manipulative ways. They will also be involved in early science and cultural activities, which will serve to introduce them to the natural environment around them.
